NIDA CTN Telehealth & Telemedicine Special Interest Group: Lessons Learned from Implementation of the California Contingency Management Pilot

More than half of individuals in California’s specialty substance use disorder treatment identify stimulants as a key issue, although many do not seek help. Contingency Management (CM) is widely recognized as the most effective treatment for stimulant use disorder. California’s Recovery Incentives Program, a pioneering initiative which implements CM, could serve as a model for other states. In an upcoming webinar, Drs. Freese and Urada will discuss the program's successes, challenges, and evaluation findings, as well as its connection to technology and potential for telehealth. The session will include time for Q&A and audience discussion.
